Ingvard Wilhelmsen - Life is an uncertain project

We can't do anything about most things in life, but we decide how we relate to everything that happens. Most of our thoughts are just nonsense, thoughts where we worry about things that never happen in reality. He challenges how we relate to these thoughts.

With a wonderful and funny communication skill, he challenges our attitudes to pondering and worry, life and death, ourselves and others. A lot of luck and many factors come into play to determine how good life will be. Then it pays to use your energy on what you can do something with. Wilhelmsen believes that in order to have calmness and peace of mind, it is absolutely necessary to tolerate life's uncertainty and risk.

Ingvard Wilhelmsen is professor emeritus at the University of Bergen and a specialist in internal medicine and psychiatry.
