City Buses
Narvik’s city buses operate daily, running from early morning to late at night. The main hub for city buses is located at the bus station outside the City Hall (Rådhuset), making it easy to switch between routes.
Tickets can be purchased using the Reis app (App Store & Google Play) which is a quick and convenient way to plan your journey and buy tickets. Alternatively, you can buy tickets directly onboard payments are card-only and will entail an on-board supplement (NOK).
City buses in Narvik are wheelchair accessible, ensuring comfortable travel for all passengers. You can bring prams, walkers, skis, and children's bicycles at no extra cost. It is also possible to bring pets as long as none of the other passengers are allergic, and adult bikes to the extent that there is space, and it is safe. It is the driver who makes the final decision in these cases.
Regional Buses
For those looking to explore beyond Narvik, regional buses provide excellent connections to nearby towns and attractions. The main departure point for regional buses is the Narvik Bus Terminal, conveniently located on the ground floor of the Amfi Malmporten shopping mall.
