Take extra care when crossing the E6 highway, as parking areas for popular trails like Verdenssvaet and Kjerna are located on the opposite side of the road. Norway has one of the highest densities of electric cars in the world, so traffic often approaches quickly and quietly. Be alert, look both ways, and cross as safely and swiftly as possible.
