The Amazing Efjord in Narvik

Efjorden is the jewel of Ofoten and is located in the southern part of Narvik Municipality. With its spectacular mountain formations, white beaches, and fishing opportunities, both locals and tourists have truly come to appreciate this stunning fjord and its landscape.

The three Efjord bridges, all of high architectural value and connecting the area, were opened in 1969 and have made the fjord a popular destination for tourists and hobby anglers. The tidal currents in the fjord are particularly rich in fish, as evidenced by the 8,000-year-old rock carvings in Vallebukta.
